Bending behaviors of flexible acoustic wave devices under non-uniform elasto-plastic deformation

Flexible acoustic wave devices (FAWDs) have been explored in various applications where bending is inevitable. However, theoretical investigations of behavior FAWDs hitherto are mostly done the linear deformation regime. Herein, we develop a multi-sublayer model based on stiffness matrix method for analysis frequency shifts surface waves and Lamb under elasto-plastic deformations. Using this model, calculate cases both an elastic bending. Experimental ZnO/Al flexible show good agreement with results tests (with relative error strain sensitivity < 3%) also relatively qualitative predictions nonlinearly For three successive recovery processes, experimentally obtained repeatability bending, demonstrating maximum errors sensitivities less than 6.1% 18.2%.
